Sheer pleated blind is a type of window covering that combines the delicate, lightweight transparency of sheer fabric with the structured, crisp folds of a pleated blind. It provides a soft, elegant look while allowing natural light to filter through, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Blackout Pleated blinds The blackout fabric prevents light from passing through, making it ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, or media rooms.
Dim-out pleated blinds are a versatile window treatment that offers a balance between light filtering and privacy. They are ideal for spaces where you want softened natural light without complete darkness.

Frequently asked questions
How much do made-to-measure pleated blinds cost in the UK?
The cost of made-to-measure pleated blinds depends on your window dimensions, fabric choice, fitting system and additional features. Honeycomb, thermal and blackout fabrics may cost more than standard pleated materials. At FILUX, we offer a free home consultation and personalised quotation.
Are honeycomb blinds better than standard pleated blinds?
Both offer a neat, contemporary appearance. However, honeycomb blinds feature a cellular structure that traps air, providing additional insulation. Standard pleated blinds are an excellent choice for light filtering, privacy and a slim, elegant finish.
Can pleated blinds be fitted without drilling?
Yes. Certain pleated blinds are available with no-drill fitting systems, including Perfect Fit options for compatible windows. These systems can provide a clean appearance without drilling into the window frame.
Do thermal pleated blinds keep heat in during winter?
Yes. Thermal honeycomb blinds create an insulating layer of air that can help reduce heat loss through windows. They can also help limit solar heat gain during warmer months, depending on the fabric and installation.
